Xingping Township

Xingping township is located in Lanni River Basin in the south of Xiji County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, 21 kilometers away from the county. Xi (Ji) Jing (ning) line runs through Xiangjing. The total land area is 139.71 square kilometers. It is a typical loess hilly and gully region with an average altitude of 1800 meters. The annual average precipitation is 418 mm, which is lower than the average level of the whole county, and the spatial and temporal distribution is uneven. More than 60% of the precipitation is concentrated in July to September. The annual average evaporation is 1485.5mm, the annual average temperature is 6 ℃, the frost free period is 120 days, and the sunshine hours is 2326 hours. For many years, drought is the leading factor, and many natural disasters such as hail, frost, rainstorm, gale, sand and dust occur simultaneously, which seriously affects agricultural production and farmers' life.

The township governs 12 administrative villages, 102 villager groups and 14156 people (2017), which is one of the Hui inhabited villages in the county. By the end of 2007, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 16.8 million yuan, the per capita income of farmers was 1882 yuan, and the per capita grain was 385 kg, which was lower than the average level of the county. There are 4860 poor people whose per capita income is less than 1000 yuan, accounting for 21.7% of the total population. It is one of the towns with poor natural environment, fragile agricultural and rural infrastructure, and the most difficult production and living conditions for the masses. The main crops are wheat, corn, potatoes, peas and so on.

Potato industry

Adhere to the "small group, large-scale" development path of grass planting and livestock raising, and plant 21468 mu of forage, including 7140 mu of alfalfa and 14328 mu of grass. During the year, the Islamic charity Association of Malaysia donated 56000 yuan through Xiji Charity Service Center to support Tuanjie and magou villages to develop breeding industry. Through the contact of Guyuan Museum of the District Department of culture, the Foguang Association of Hong Kong was introduced to donate HK $150000 to expand yangbaihu primary school in Xingping. The association intends to invest RMB 900000 to solve the problem of drinking water for people and animals in Yaozhuang and Xiapu villages of hannao village. The feasibility report and preliminary design scheme of the project have been completed.

Focusing on the achievement of consolidating the "two basics" standard, we further strengthened the construction of basic education hardware. In this year, we completed the reconstruction tasks of hannao Xiaocha wanwan primary school, Wangbao huangwan primary school and wangwanyan Maigao primary school, expanded the campus area of 2600 square meters, built about 600 square meters of new school buildings, 440 meters of enclosing walls, and maintained 356 square meters of school buildings, which further improved the teaching conditions of the whole township.

The township has arranged 5360 export tasks, generating 18.5 million yuan of income, 1950 guiding training tasks and 40 labor brokers. According to statistics, the total number of people who completed the export in the whole year was 6724, creating an income of 20.4 million yuan. 125.4% and 110.3% of the tasks were completed respectively. The number of organized exports reached 3801. There are 3801 guiding training, covering more than 56.5%. During the year, 50 labor brokers were trained and supported, and 2 new labor bases were added. The per capita labor income of farmers in the township is 931 yuan.

Family Planning

During this period, 956 cases of contraception debts over the years were cleared, including 42 cases of ligation, 668 cases of ring placement, and 223000 yuan of social support fee was collected. On this basis, we should continuously strengthen the management and service of population and family planning, strictly control registered residence management and marriage registration, and strictly implement the quasi birth certificate system.
