Huanghe Township
Huanghe Township, belonging to Maduo County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Maduo County. It is adjacent to the Yellow River in the East and Youyun township of Maqin County across the river, Bayan Har mountain in the south, dari county and Shiqu County of Sichuan Province, Heihe Township in the west, Huashixia town in the north, 60 kilometers away from the county, with a total administrative area of 5609.8 square kilometers.
In 1958, Huanghe Township belonged to Huanghe yanshe commune; in 1984, Huanghe commune was changed to Huanghe township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the Yellow River was 2742. In 2019, the Yellow River countryside governs seven administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in jiangkan.
The area of grassland available for agriculture in Huanghe township is 5.089 million mu, and animal husbandry is mainly for raising horses, cattle and sheep.
