Xinzhuang Township, subordinate to Hezheng County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Hezheng County, adjacent to Songming town in the East, Taizishan in the south, Xinying Township in the west, Chengguan town and Dalang Township in the north. The area is 97.39 square kilometers. In 2018, 19327 people registered residence.
In ancient times, it was called sibasi, which was the territory of Tubo sibasi. In Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Han Tusi, Xunhua County, Qinghai Province. In 1955, Xinzhuang township was established. In 1958, Xinzhuang commune was established. In 1983, it was changed to Xinzhuang township. In October 2019, Xinzhuang village governs 13 administrative villages.
In 2018, Xinzhuang Township had 5 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
