Xinghua Township
Xinghua Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Dangchang county. It is connected with Shangping township of Lixian County in the East, Hanyuan Township and Nanyang town in the southeast, chela Township in the West and Lujing town of Min County in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 237 square kilometers.
Before 1949, Xinghua Township belonged to Lianggong township of Min county; in October 1983, it was changed from Xinghua commune to Xinghua township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinghua was 8988. As of June 2020, Xinghua village has eight administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Xinghua village.
The main food crops in Xinghua township are wheat, broad bean and potato; the main animal husbandry is pig, sheep, yak and poultry. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Xinghua township was 1680 yuan.

Before 1949, it belonged to Lianggong township of Min county.
In January 1951, Xinghua township was established.
In September 1958, Xinghua commune was established.
In October 1983, Xinghua commune was transformed into Xinghua township.
