On December 25, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns in Mianyang City (cfzm [2019] No. 27): the administrative areas of Lingzhu village and Hongguang Village in Jianxing Township were put under the jurisdiction of Yanwu Town, and Yanwu Town People's government was stationed at No. 7 Yangwu street.

Yanwu township was abolished and Yanwu town was established. The administrative region of Yanwu town was the former administrative region of Yanwu Township, and the people's Government of Yanwu town was stationed at No. 7 Yangwu street.

In December 2019, Mianyang Municipal People's government decided to put the administrative areas of Lingzhu village and Hongguang Village in Jianxing Township under the jurisdiction of Yanwu Town, and Yanwu Town People's government will be stationed at No.7 Yangwu street.
