Jiahe Township

Jiahe Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Dangchang County, connecting Jiangtai Township and chela Township in the East, Chengguan town and Hejiabao Township in the south, Nanhe town and Lichuan town in the west, Muer Township in the north and Lujing town in Min County in the northeast. It is 7 km away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 145.22 square kilometers.

Before 1949, Jiahe Township belonged to tangwa township of Min county; in August 2004, Boji township was merged into Jiahe township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Jia He township was 10164. As of June 2020, Jiahe township has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located in dabuzi village.

The main food crops in Jiahe township are wheat, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Jiahe township has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Before 1949, it belonged to tangwa township of Min county.

In March 1958, Jiahe township was established; in September of the same year, Shengli commune was established; in November of the same year, it was changed into Jiahe commune.

In October 1983, Jiahe Township commune was changed into Jiahe township.

In August 2004, Boji township was merged into Jiahe township.
