Honghe Township
Honghe Township, belonging to Jingchuan County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north east of Jingchuan County, adjacent to Libu town in the East, luohantong town in the south, Yudu Town, Fengtai Town and Shuguang town in Zhenyuan County in the west, and Tunzi town and Shangxiao town in Zhenyuan County in the North. The total area of the administrative area is 49.27 square kilometers, and as of 2018, the registered residence population of Red River Township was 7923.
Honghe Township got its name because of the homophony of Honghe. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to yangxianli and liupanli. Before 1949, it belonged to Fengtai and Yudu respectively. In 1958, it was incorporated into Yudu commune. In 1961, Honghe commune was established. In 1983, it was changed to township. As of June 2020, Honghe township has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages. The town people's government is stationed in shuimoping company, longwangqiao village.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Honghe township was 2300 yuan.
