Donghu Street

Donghu street is subordinate to Furong district, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is adjacent to Changsha Huanghua International Airport in the East, Furong central business district in the west, Wuguang high-speed railway new town in the south, Xingsha Economic and Technological Development Zone in the north, and Renmin east road passes through. It is the "East Gate" for external radiation and communication of Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province.

Donghu street has jurisdiction over Donghu village, Heping Village, Donghu fishing ground village, Binhu community, Longma community, Shaoguang community and Dongsha community, with an area of 9.91 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 54500, which has typical characteristics of urban-rural fringe.

Donghu street has National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Hunan bioelectrical vocational and technical college, Nongfeng seed industry, Donghu Laogan Institute and more than 120 universities, units and enterprises in the street.

Donghu street was established in 2012, and its jurisdiction was originally Dongan township. In 2012, Furong district was adjusted and set up by Dongan township.

Heping Village

It is located at the easternmost end of Furong district, bordering Hongguang Village, Langli Town, Changsha County in the East, Donghu village and Donghu fishing ground village in the south, surrounded by the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the northwest, and the extended line of Renmin east road running through the whole village from west to East, with convenient transportation and superior geographical conditions. Our village has a total area of 2415 Mu and a total population of 3185 people.

Donghu fishing ground village

Located on the Bank of Liuyang River in Donghu Street area, the village covers a total area of 850 mu (including 550 mu of fishing lake, 200 mu of dry land, 100 mu of mountain and other areas), with 116 households and 312 people.
