Xintianzhen
Xintian Town, subordinate to Minle County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Minle County, bordering fengle Township in the East, Sunan County in the south, ancient town in the south in the West and Ganzhou District in the north. It covers an area of 249.48 square kilometers. In 2018, the registered residence of new town was 25955.
In 1929, it was assigned to Minle county and belongs to Muhua district. In October 1949, it belonged to Muhua district. In 1983, it was changed into Xintian township. In 2000, new Tianzhen was built. In October 2004, Lizhai township was merged into Xintian town. As of October 2019, Xintian town has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Hanying village.
In 2018, Xintian town has 61 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Shandan County.
In 1929, it was assigned to Minle county and belongs to Muhua district.
In October 1949, it belonged to Muhua district.
In 1952, a new district was set up.
In 1956, after withdrawing the district and merging the township, Xintian township was set up.
In 1958, Shanzhai township was merged and Hongxing commune was established. In the same year, Minle and Shandan counties were merged and under the jurisdiction of fengle commune.
In 1962, after Minle and Shandan were divided into counties, Xintian commune was established.
In 1966, it was renamed Xintian commune.
In 1983, it was changed into Xintian township.
In 2000, new Tianzhen was built.
In October 2004, Lizhai township was merged into Xintian town.
