Baliwan Township, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Huining County, adjacent to pingtouchuan Township and laojunpo town in the East, zhaijiasuo town in the south, chaijiamen town in the west, hanjiaji town and Dagou town in the north, with a total administrative area of 195.3 square kilometers.
Baliwan commune was established in 1961 and changed to Baliwan Township in 1983. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Eight Mile Bay Township was 19094. In June 2020, Baliwan village governs 11 administrative villages.
