Xiashi town
Xiashi Town, belonging to Jintai District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Jintai District, bordering Jinhe town and Xiguan Street in the East, Weihe River in the south, Gaojia town in Weibin District, Xiangquan town in Chencang District in the West and Xianggong town in Chencang District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 8.6 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 28 kilometers, with a total area of 149.10 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, it has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages. In 2018, the registered residence population in Kashi town was 19731, with a gross domestic product value of 495 million yuan, a fixed asset investment of 1 billion 34 million yuan, and a per capita disposable income of farmers of 16460 yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named after Xiashi Hongliang, one of the eight scenic spots in Baoji.
Before the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Longzhou (county). Now Xiashi town is a combination of liuchuanhe Township and Xiashi township.
In 1952, hejiapo and Lijiashan townships were set up in Liuchuan Hanoi, while Changpo, Liuchuan and chezhe townships were set up in Jinling district under the jurisdiction of Baoji County.
In November 1958, the county system was abolished and merged into Baoji City. Rutting, Guichuan and Xiashi were all under the jurisdiction of Xiangong commune.
In August 1961, the system of Baoji County was restored, and Guichuan and Xiashi were directly under the jurisdiction of Baoji County.
In May 1966, Xiashi commune was renamed Hongxia commune, and Guichuan commune was renamed Hongsang commune.
In 1969, the original name was restored.
In 1985, Guichuan township was renamed liuchuanhe township.
In December 2001, liuchuanhe Township and Xiashi Township were merged and named Xiashi township.
In April 2003, Xiashi township was put under the jurisdiction of Jintai district.
In August 2011, the township was replaced by Xiashi town.

By the end of 2011, Xiashi town had 26 administrative villages including Sanxing, Hongxia, Wuqi, Linjia, hejiaqu, rut, Lingxi, Lijiahe, Shangpai, hejiapo, Wuyue temple, Panlong temple, bojiahe, zhangjiaya, zhangjiabi, liuchuandian, Yangjiacao, liujiadi, Daliushu, Lijiashan, gaojiawan, Jiaokou, JiangWang, sijiayao, qijiagou and Dongjia villages, with 155 villagers Team.
As of June 2020, it has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages. The people's government is located in Hongxia village.
