Tangyu town
Tangyu Town, belonging to Lantian County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Lantian County. It borders Jiaodai town in the East, fengbeihe town in Zhashui County of Shangluo City in the south, shijiazhai town in the West and weizhai street in Chang'an District in the north, with a total area of 148.44 square kilometers.
Tangyu town is one of the eight scenic spots in Lantian, including tangshimen Tangquan, Tangyu hot spring and Tangyu lake.
As of June 2020, Tangyu town has 26 administrative villages. In 2018, the population of Tang Yu town registered residence was 50778. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Tangyu town reached 152 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 62 million yuan.
Historical evolution
The origin of place names
There is a hot spring at the entrance of shimenyukou. It was named Shimen Tang in the Tang Dynasty. Xuanzong gave it the name of Daxing Tangyuan, so it was named Tangyu.
History of construction
Daxing Tang court was set up in Tang Dynasty.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), there was joint insurance.
In May 1949, Tangyu district (in gaobao Village) was set up to manage 8 townships.
In April 1956, it was changed into Tangyu District, with jurisdiction over six townships.
In 1958, Tangyu district was abolished, and rocket commune was established, which governed four senior communes. In the same year, it was changed into Tangyu commune.
In 1984, Tangyu town was established.
On June 28, 2015, Shaanxi Province adjusted the township administrative division, abolished shijiazhai town and merged it into Tangyu town.
