Manhui town
Manhui Town, belonging to Hangjinhou banner, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, bordering Linhe District in the East, Shanba town in the south, Shahai town in the west, wulatehou banner in the north and Tuanjie town in the northeast. It covers an area of 199.31 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 29601.
In 1958, it was a part of Yongsheng commune. In 1966, the township was transformed into a town. In 2005, Hongxing township was merged into manhui town when the township was withdrawn and merged. Hongqi, Xintang, Xinghuo, gongyiqu of Hongqi Township and the 1st, 7th and 8th villager groups of Fuqiang village and Shuangjian village of former Lianhe Township were transferred to manhui town. As of June 2020, manhui town has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in group 2 of manhui village and tuanhuang Road West.
In 2018, there were 6 industrial enterprises in manhui Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Langshan area.
In 1958, it was a part of Yongsheng commune.

Manhui town is located in the hinterland of Hetao Plain, which is known as "granary outside the Great Wall", and at the south foot of Yinshan Mountain. It belongs to the self flowing irrigation area of diverting the Yellow River. The terrain is low-lying and gradually decreases from west to East and from south to north. It is mainly plain with an altitude of about 1035 meters.
