Bayin ulansum
Bayin ulansumu is located in the northeast of Ulat Middle Banner, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It borders on Baotou Darhan maoming'an United banner in the East, Xinhure Sumu in the south, Hailiutu town in the southwest, Chuanjing town in the West and Mongolia ancient people's Republic in the north. It covers an area of 6727.89 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the 7047 population of Bayin Ulan Su Mu registered residence.
In April 1950, shabugenutuk was established. In January 1959, it was merged into Bayin Ulan commune. In September 1984, the commune was abolished and changed to sangendalai, Bayin and Ulan. In December 2005, it was merged into Bayin ulansum. As of June 2020, Bayin Ulan Sumu governs 16 Gacha, and Sumu people's government is stationed in Hohhot and Tolgoi.
In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in Bayin ulansumu, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In April 1950, shabugenutuk was established.
In March 1956, it was divided into bayinhuere and ulanhuere.
In January 1959, it was merged into Bayin Ulan commune.
In July 1960, it was divided into Bayin commune and Ulan commune.
In July 1962, Bayin commune established sangendalai commune.
In September 1984, the commune was abolished and changed to sangendalai, Bayin and Ulan.
In December 2005, it was merged into Bayin ulansum.

The total length of the river is 152.3 kilometers, and the drainage area is 4010 square kilometers. Wulanyiligeng River, the largest river, flows from southwest to Mongolia through dongdawusu, with a length of 107.3 km and a drainage area of 2035.5 square kilometers.
