Guisi Street
Guisi street is under the jurisdiction of Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is under the overall management of Ningbo national high tech Zone entrusted by Zhenhai District. It is an integral part of Ningbo New Material Science and technology city.
Guisi street is located in the middle of Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, to the north of Yongjiang river. Jiaochuan street in the East, camel street in the west, Zhuangshi street in the South and Shupu town in the north. The area of the street is 16.39 square kilometers, with a population of 28 thousand and 600 people, including 14282 registered residence population and 14329 migrant population. It governs 1 community and 7 administrative villages.
Evolution of organizational system
In 1930, Siqiao town was founded.
In October 1949, the Baojia system was abolished and Guisi town was subordinate to Xinsi Township, Zhuangshi District, Zhenhai county.
In June 1950, the township system was adjusted and Guisi was subordinate to Luotuo Town, Zhuangshi District, Zhenhai county.
In October 1954, a new camel district was built in Zhenhai county. Guisi was subordinate to Wantang Township, camel district.
In October 1958, Zhenhai county was abolished and merged into Ningbo City. Guisi, Hantang and other 10 administrative areas belong to Dongfeng commune.
Guisi commune was established in October 1961.
In January 1963, Zhenhai county was restored and a new Wantang cotton area was built. Guisi was subordinate to the Wantang cotton area.
In November 1983, it was changed into Guisi township. In 1985, Guisi township was withdrawn to build a town.
In July 1985, according to the document No. 99 of Guozheng Zi, Zhenhai County of Ningbo City was abolished, Binhai District was expanded, and Zhenhai District was established, with Yongjiang as the boundary, Binhai District in the South and Zhenhai District in the north. In October of the same year, the county was officially divided into districts. Guisi street belongs to Guisi Town, Zhenhai District, Ningbo City.
In 1996, Guisi Town, with an area of 22 square kilometers and a population of 22000, has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, including Guisi, dashiyan, Aiden, Shahe, tianyangzhou, Shengyi, Xieqiao, Dongsheng, lidongqiao, Miaogong, Tongde, Miaosheng, luyanzheng, xujiayan, Sanwu, Minlian, Dianzhang, Chaoyang and Hefeng.
On September 20, 2001, Zhejiang Provincial People's Government (zhezhenghan 188) agreed to abolish four towns in Zhenhai District of Ningbo, namely Chengguan Town, Zhuangshi Town, Luotuo town and Guisi Town, and set up four streets, namely Zhaobaoshan, Jiaochuan, Zhuangshi and Luotuo. Zhaobaoshan Street governs eight communities and one administrative village with an area of 20.8 square kilometers and a total population of 62200. Jiaochuan Street covers an area of 36.82 square kilometers and a total population of 62000 There are 44100 people in Luotuo street; there are 1 community and 10 administrative villages under Zhuangshi street, with an area of 25.13 square kilometers and a total population of 22000 people; there are 4 communities and 21 administrative villages under Luotuo street, with an area of 46.64 square kilometers and a total population of 44200 people. The jurisdiction belongs to Luotuo street, Zhenhai District, Ningbo City.
In July 2015, Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, approved the adjustment of administrative divisions. Taking Wanghai road as the boundary, Luotuo street was divided into Luotuo street and Guisi street. The newly built GUI Si Street area is 15.9 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 14 thousand and 300. It has jurisdiction over the 7 administrative villages of GUI Si community and Xing Feng, Miao Sheng Temple, Dong Qian, GUI Si, Li Dong bridge, min Lian and Shahe (the whole adjustment work was completed by the end of July of that year).
