Dashetai town is located in the northeast of Wulate Front Banner, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is adjacent to Ming'an town in the East, Wula mountain in the south, Wuliangsuhai in the West and chashitai mountain in the north. It covers an area of 940 square kilometers. Historical evolution

In the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1903), dashetai was set up as Wuyuan Tingzhi.
