Dashetai town is located in the northeast of Wulate Front Banner, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is adjacent to Ming'an town in the East, Wula mountain in the south, Wuliangsuhai in the West and chashitai mountain in the north. It covers an area of 940 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tai she town was 30634.
In 1925, she Tai was established as the Governing Council. In October 1954, SHETAI district was put under Wulat banner. In 1984, it was changed into Shetai Township and sudulun township. Historical evolution
In the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1903), dashetai was set up as Wuyuan Tingzhi.
In 1925, she Tai was established as the Governing Council.
In 1931, it was renamed Anbei Administrative Bureau.
In December 1939, the Japanese aggressors set up the puppet Anbei County Office in dashetaicheng and changed it into Taian town.
