Cuntou town
Cuntou Town, belonging to Kaihua County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the north east of Kaihua County. It is located in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a total area of 72.2 square kilometers (2017). It is adjacent to daxibian Township, Linshan Township and Jincun Township in the East, Majin Township and Yinkeng Township in the west, and Tangwu Township in the north. The total population was 8530 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages. The town government is located in the first four villages. The main rivers are jinshuixi, Juxi, etc. The road at the end of the bridge passes through the town.
Historical evolution
In 1950, cuntou Township and Fangcun Township were set up and merged into friendship Township in 1956. In 1958, cuntou commune was established, under which cuntou, Fangcun and other administrative areas were set up. In 1961, it was divided into communes such as cuntou and Fangcun. In 1983, it was changed into townships such as cuntou and Fangcun. In 1987, the township was removed from the village to build a town. At the end of 1992, Ben Township and Fanglin Township were merged into cuntou Town, and in 1995, diben Township and Fanglin Township were restored.
In 1996, cuntou town covers an area of 37.3 square kilometers, with a population of 10000. It governs 15 administrative villages, including cuntou 1, cuntou 2, cuntou 3, cuntou 4, Guzhu, Yatian, huikeng, zhaokeng, leiling, Qingshan, Wangchuan, Dahuangshan, shangbianshan, Fulin and Tianfeng, 14.5 kilometers away from the county seat. Fanglin Township covers an area of 34.7 square kilometers, with a population of 7000, and governs Fanglin, shigu, xiaoxibian, Xiadian, Xiadian and Tianfeng Jidi, Kongshan, shanglitian, xialitian, Xingbian, mikeng, Wuchuan, Shifan, Yuanyuan, Changqing, Dongshi 15 administrative villages, 18.5 kilometers away from the county.

Cuntou town is a strong education town in Zhejiang Province.
