Gilgarang town
Jirgalang Town, belonging to Horqin Left wing rear banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Horqin Left wing rear banner. It is adjacent to hailutu town in the East, charisu town and Changsheng town in the south, Ka town of Ganqi town in the West and agula town in the North. The area is 719.37 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of 26737 people in the town of Ji Er Ge long.
In 1955, after the people's government moved to Ganqika, it became the residence of jilgalannutuk. In 1958, the commune was established. In 1984, the town was built. As of June 2020, the town has 28 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises and 66 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in jilgalang town.
Historical evolution
In 1740, qizhasak moved from tarygen to gilgarang.
In the first month of the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855), Seng greenqin was promoted to Prince by the Qing government because of his military achievements, and was granted the title of "boduolegatai". Later, the name of his mansion gradually became known as "boduolegatai" Prince Mansion, or "boduolegatai mansion" for short. As time went by, it took the place of the name of gilgarang until 1931.
In 1947, jilgalang was the seat of the people's government.
In 1955, after the people's government moved to Ganqika, it became the residence of jilgalannutuk.
In 1958, the commune was established.
