Baiyintaohai Sumu, belonging to Wengniute Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Wengniute Banner and the middle part of Horqin sandy land. It is adjacent to xinsumosumu in the East, aorunsumu in Aohan banner and weiliansu Township in Naiman Banner of Tongliao City across the river in the south, wuduntaohai town in the west, hairisu town and ashhansu town in the north. The people's government is the third duguilong in haigacha, baiyintao. Baiyintaohai Sumu administrative area is 624.97 square kilometers. In late 2018, 19407 households registered residence in Baiyin sea.

hydrology
Laoha River in baiyintaohai Sumu flows into baiyintaohai from wuduntaohai Town, Wengniute Banner, with a total length of 120 kilometers. Laoha river has long been a great river in northern China. It is called "laohuamulun" in Ming Dynasty and "laohamulun" in Mongolian, also known as "Heishui or Heishui River". In the Qing Dynasty, it was called laohamulun according to Mongolian phonetics, which is called laohamu river for short. As the river gradually enters the alluvial plain from the hilly area, there is no tributary along the river, and the riverbed gradient is warm. The average gradient is 1 / 1000, and a large amount of sediment deposition in the upper and middle reaches makes the riverbed rise gradually. During the flood period, there is a danger of breakwater. There are sandbanks and shoals in the channel, forming an obvious Dohan shaped estuary. The riverbed is widened to 300-1000 meters. The total runoff is 80 million cubic meters, and the maximum discharge is 400 cubic meters.
