Mujiayingzi Town, belonging to Hongshan District of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Songshan District. It borders on Yinhe River in the East and Qiaobei township of Hongshan District, Wenzhong town of Hongshan District in the south, Chengzi township of Songshan District in the west, and Manchu Township of Dangpudi in the north. In 1961, mujiayingzi commune was separated from the suburbs. In 1962, it belongs to Chifeng county. In 1968, it was renamed the Revolutionary Committee of mujiayingzi commune. In 1980, the commune management committee was restored. In 1984, it was in the suburb of Chifeng City. In 1993, mujiayingzi town was changed to Songshan District. In June 2020, mujiayingzi town governs 14 administrative villages.
