Ma'an Street
Ma'an street is a street under the jurisdiction of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, which is located in the north of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. It is adjacent to Cao'e River in the East, Yuecheng District of Shaoxing City in the south, Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou City in the north, 2km away from Sanjiang crossing of Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway, 20km away from Xiaoshan International Airport, and the Kehai express line passes through the territory. It has superior geographical location and convenient transportation. The town covers an area of 110.3 square kilometers (2017), most of which are formed by beach reclamation. It is a plain water town with 12 administrative villages, 10 residents' committees and 1 community. The total number of households is 14316 and the total population is 126316 (2017).
On October 8, 2019, it will be selected into the top 100 towns of China's top 1000 comprehensive strength in 2019. On November 1, 2019, with the approval of Shaoxing Municipal People's government, Ma'an street was established. On November 18, 2019, Ma'an street was listed as Ma'an town.
General situation
Ma'an street is located in the north of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, with an area of 110.3 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 126316 (2017). It is adjacent to Cao'e River in the East, Shaoxing City in the south, Xiaoshan District in Hangzhou City in the north, 2km away from Sanjiang road crossing of Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway, 20km away from Xiaoshan International Airport, and Kehai express line passing through. It has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation.
Most of them are formed by beach reclamation, belonging to plain water town, 12 administrative villages, 10 residents' committees and 1 community, with a total number of 14316 households.
Binhai Industrial Zone was established in Keqiao District in June 2002, and Ma'an town is entrusted by Binhai Industrial Zone. In June 2003, the scale of administrative villages was adjusted to 26 villages and 3 neighborhood committees. Since the reform and opening up, the economy of Ma'an town has made great progress, and its comprehensive economic strength is in the forefront of the region. In 2003, the town's GDP reached 2.156 billion yuan and its sales revenue reached 10.143 billion yuan. Historical evolution
According to the records of Jiatai Kuaiji, Ma'anshan is similar to Ma'an in shape, and the place is named after the mountain. According to the unearthed cultural relics of xianrenshan and fenghuangdun in 1989, human activities existed as early as the Neolithic period, about 4500 years ago. It is said that Ma'anshan, also known as hang net mountain, is a fishing and hunting place for Yue people. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the residents gradually gathered and the town began to form. It was the coastal trade center in the north of the district. In 1932, Ma'an southeast town and northwest town were built, and Ma'an township was built in 1935. In September 1985, in order to build a town, on November 1, 2019, with the approval of Shaoxing Municipal People's government, Ma'an street was set up in Ma'an Town, and the administrative region remained unchanged. On November 18, 2019, Ma'an street was listed as "withdrawing town to set up street". In May 1992, Xinwei town and xiner Township were merged into the city, with jurisdiction over 50 villages and 3 residential areas. In 1993, there were 11045 households and 35471 people. The people's Government of the town is located in Zhangcun village, which has been relocated to 666 Qiushi Road, Binhai Industrial Zone.
Major industries
Ma'an is located in the coastal area, the sandy land is rich in cotton, the women's industry spins and weaves, and the products are sold all over the cities and towns. After entering the 1980s, the township industry has gradually developed, forming an industrial structure mainly composed of textile, printing and dyeing, hardware and building materials, and corresponding development of food, leather, chemical industry and plastics, with 103 enterprises. The people's Government of Zhejiang Province approved it as a key industrial satellite town in Zhejiang Province. In 1993, the gross industrial and agricultural output value was 1199.9 million yuan (calculated according to the constant price in 1990), and the export delivery value of foreign trade products was 93.1 million yuan. It is one of the top 100 towns in Zhejiang Province.
Town construction
street:
In the old days, the streets were built along the river, about 3 meters wide and 450 meters long, paved with stone slabs. Flower shops, shops, teahouses, restaurants row upon row, Street River from west to East through, a typical Jiangnan Water style. In 1987, the old street was rebuilt, and then 8 new streets, including Xinjian Road, Xijie Road, Dongjie Road, Chezhan South Road, Chezhan North Road, were newly built and rebuilt. The widest part is 24m, mostly cement pavement. At the end of 1993, there were 11 streets (lanes) with a total length of 3081 meters.

At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, the building area of houses in the built-up area was about 38900 square meters. From the 1950s to the 1970s, there were not many new buildings. In the late 1980s, a large number of residential areas were built, and farmers' Villas appeared. At the end of 1993, the actual building area of houses was 148600 square meters, including 64900 square meters of residential building area, 25 square meters per capita. Since 1987, public buildings such as cinemas, homes for the aged, people's hospitals, central primary schools, bus stations, posts and telecommunications offices, and credit cooperatives have been built and rebuilt one after another. The highest level is four stories, most of which are three stories, with a construction area of nearly 20000 square meters.
Hydropower:
The water supply plant was planned to be built in 1987 and expanded in 1991. The main pipeline is 12.39 km long, and the annual water supply is 1.2 million tons, with a water supply rate of 94%. 5.1km underground drainage pipes were buried and 350 inspection wells were built. It was electrified in 1967 and popularized in 1970, powered by Tingfeng substation.

In 1914, a mail agency was set up. It was a third class B post office in 1955, and changed to a post office in December 1958. In 1988, the program-controlled telephone was installed. By the end of 1993, there were 510 telephones.
Transportation:
In the old days, it was mainly waterway. In the late Qing Dynasty, there were Xixing Daoxu line, Lizhu Anchang line via Ma'an passenger and cargo ship and Bukuai ship. In September 1931, the Dahua wheel from Shaoxing to Anchang passed through the saddle. In July 1955, the new shaoma (Anshan) route was opened. In 1981, Shaoxing Sanjiang highway was completed and extended to Xiaoshan Yinong sluice. In April 1982, Ma'an highway was connected with yinongzha, shaosan (Jiang) highway in the South and Dangshan, Guali and Yaqian highway in the north, all of which could be connected with national highway 104. In May 1992, the ma'an-qi'an highway was completed and opened to traffic. Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway under construction, passing through national day and Dayuan villages, is 1.95 km long in Ma'an, with convenient land and water transportation. On March 19, 2019, qianbin line, a two-way eight lane highway connecting Qianqing and Binhai (Ma'an), was opened.

Located in Ma'an Street office, 1 km south of Siqiao village, xianrenshan, 500 meters south of Siqiao (fenghuangdun). The site includes Xianren mountain and Fenghuang pier. The total area of xianrenshan site is about 8000 square meters. After partial excavation in 1985, the deposit is about 1 meter thick and divided into two cultural layers: red pottery with sand, hard pottery and stone tools. There are rope shaped tripod and cauldron branch on the red pottery with sand. Printed pottery is decorated with square pattern, stripe, cloud and thunder pattern, and the shape of the ware is mostly concave bottom ware and circular bottom ware. The stone tools are grooved, segmented and half moon shaped. It belongs to the Maqiao culture. In the lower layer, there are argillaceous gray pottery, black leather pottery and red pottery with sand. The main shapes of the pottery are fish fin shaped tripod, round foot basin and trumpet shaped hollowed beans. Stone tools include Duanshi, willow shaped arrowheads, etc. It belongs to Liangzhu culture. Fenghuangdun site covers a total area of about 6000 square meters. Partial excavation in 1984 and 1993. The cultural layer is about 1 meter thick, and the unearthed stone tools include knives and arrowheads; the pottery mainly consists of clay grey pottery, clay Black Leather pottery and red pottery with sand, and some of them are carved, hollowed out and with additional patterns. It is shaped like a tripod, a bean, a pot, etc. It belongs to the late Liangzhu culture. Ma'an site reflects the cultural inheritance from Liangzhu culture to Maqiao culture.
