Sanhe
Sanhe Town, subordinate to Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located at the southern end of Feixi County, between 117 ° 14 ′ - 117 ° 16 ′ E and 31 ° 30 ′ - 31 ° 32 ′ n. It is located at the junction of Feixi County, Lujiang County and Shucheng County, adjacent to Hangbu town of Shucheng County in the southwest, Lujiang Tongda Town, fengle town and Yandian Township in the south, covering an area of 78.77 square kilometers (2017).
Sanhe Town governs 14 communities and 12 villages with a population of 56629 (in 2017). Sanhe Town has Sanhe great victory ruins, former residence of Zheng Shanfu, ancient people street and other attractions. In 2014, Sanhe Town achieved an industrial output value of 3.45 billion yuan, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 23672 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 13426 yuan.
Sanhe Town is a famous historical and cultural town in China, a national civilized town, an ancient town of Chinese food culture, one of the top 100 most beautiful villages (towns) in China, one of the first batch of beautiful livable towns in China, and a famous landscape tourism town with Chinese characteristics. In October 2015, Sanhe ancient town scenic spot won the national AAAAA level scenic spot. On July 28, 2017, Sanhe Town was selected as the second batch of small towns with Chinese characteristics.
Evolution of organizational system
The three rivers are named after fengle River, Hangbu River and Xiaonan river. It was called quezhu in ancient times.
In the Xia and Shang Dynasties, fishermen took shelter from the wind and began to live here. They were called "Dongyi" and "Huaiyi". Dayu's flood control was divided into Jiuzhou and Sanhe into Yangzhou.
During the Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to the scope of activities of "shujiu" (in the middle and east of Shucheng).
During the spring and Autumn period, wars continued, and the territory of most vassal states changed frequently. Sanhe was the territory of Lu, Xu, Chu and Wu. After the Qin Dynasty unified the world, Sanhe belonged to Jiujiang county.
During the Han Dynasty, Sanhe was under the jurisdiction of Lujiang County. From the Han Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty, Sanhe was at the boundary between Shu County of Lujiang County and Hefei County of Jiujiang county.
After the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the southern and Northern regimes started a 200 year war with the boundary between the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River. The ownership of the three rivers changed frequently, but most of them belonged to the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the Southern Dynasties, the Song Dynasty, the Qi Dynasty, the Liang Dynasty and the Chen Dynasty.
In the early Sui Dynasty, Luzhou was set up, and Sanhe belonged to Luzhou from then on to the Qing Dynasty.
During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, the former Shu county was divided into Lujiang and Shucheng counties. From then on to the Republic of China, it was at the junction of Hefei, Shu and Lujiang counties.
From Sui, Tang to Qing Dynasty, Sanhe was under the jurisdiction of Hefei County, Luzhou Prefecture.
After the revolution of 1911, Luzhou Prefecture was abolished and county was established. Hefei county is under the jurisdiction of Sanhe District, including fengle town of Feixi County, Tongda town of Lujiang County and Hangbu town of Shucheng county.
In January 1949, after the liberation of Sanhe, it was established as a city (county level) directly under the Chaohu District in Northern Anhui, with jurisdiction over three towns in the East, West and South and six townships of Hangbu, Meilin, Niuhe, linlou, wangwan and Hanqiao. In July of the same year, more than 35000 people from six towns under the jurisdiction of hangmei were assigned to Shucheng and Lujiang counties respectively.
In 1950, the city was divided into districts, under the Feixi County.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the town was established.

Sanhe Town used to be Gaozhou in Chaohu Lake, and GuJie district used to be the West Bank of Chaohu Lake. The ground elevation was relatively high. Later, due to sediment deposition, land reclamation gradually became land. The town is high in the West and low in the East, with undulating terrain and alternating erosion and polder, which is a typical hilly area. The absolute elevation (Yellow Sea elevation, the same below) of the original ancient block is between 9.1 and 11.6 meters, accounting for 20% of the area under the jurisdiction of Sanhe Town. The absolute elevation of the polder area is between 6.0 and 7.0 meters, accounting for about 75% of the area under the jurisdiction.
The soil in Sanhe Town belongs to the typical loess under river alluvium, mainly composed of yarn and soil. The main soil types are yellow and white soil field, Magan field and thin layer of white soil field.
