Cultural community

The cultural community starts from Cuibai road in the East, Zhongshan West Road in the south, Wenhua Road in the West and Houhe road in the north, covering an area of 47100 square meters, of which 32% is green.

Community composition

The community residential area is composed of Houhe community, yinhaiyuan community, laoqiang gate No.1-21 of Wenhua lane, Wenhua Road No.3, No.4, No.10 and No.11, and lane 569, Lane 622 and lane 626 of Zhongshan West Road. Houhe district and yinhaiyuan district are property management districts. At present, there are 37 117 corridors (wall doors) in the community, which are divided into 28 residential buildings (wall doors) groups. There are 28 team leaders and 77 corridor (wall door) informants. There are 1591 residents and 4220 permanent residents in the community. There are 554 elderly people aged 60 and above in the community (204 over 70, 73 over 80 and 1 over 90), accounting for 12% of the total population in the community. Community members include Ningbo Air Defense Office, Ningbo post office, Ningbo Aiju art school, Haishu geriatric hospital and more than 20 enterprises and institutions.

Community construction

Since 2003, under the leadership of the general Party branch and the neighborhood committee of the community, closely relying on the vast number of residents, we have continuously accelerated the construction of democratic autonomy in the community. We have successfully implemented the direct election of the general Party branch, the neighborhood committee of the community and the group leader of the community building group. At the same time, we have successively established and elected the community trade union, the Communist Youth League, the women's Federation, the Association for the aged, the overseas Chinese Federation, the Disabled Association, the Association for science and technology and the family planning association Organization, make community autonomy structure more perfect. On this basis, we have carried out extensive activities to create the "Three Civilizations" and continuously improved the overall quality of residents through different carriers. We have achieved gratifying results. The community has successively won the honorary titles of the first batch of civilized communities in Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City, four-star community party organizations, advanced grass-roots party organizations in Haishu District, advanced collective of "one person, one post" activity of Party members, advanced collective of family planning in 2001-2004, and advanced collective of Haishu District in preventing and dealing with cult problems.
