Sijiqing town

Sijiqing town is located in the west of Haidian District, in the planning area of 1040 square kilometers within the Fifth Ring Road, with Baiyi road in the East, Haidian Township in the northeast, Xiangshan in the west, Fushi road in the south, Yuyuantan General Corporation of agriculture and industry, Yuquan mountain and Summer Palace in the North.

Kunyu River and Yongding River flow through the town, and the Fourth Ring Road and the Fifth Ring Road cross the town. Zhongguancun High Tech Park is the close neighbor of the town, separated by only one river. The infrastructure of highway network, communication and electric power is perfect. Known as the "pearl in the west of Beijing".

The town government is located at 29 dongran village, covering an area of 76 square kilometers and a population of 74700. It has jurisdiction over 14 village committees. In November 2011, Sijiqing town officially set up a regional office.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

Historical evolution

Sijiqing commune was established in August 1958, and Sijiqing Township was established in April 1984. In 2002, the area covered 77.28 square kilometers (including 40.42 square kilometers of land in the management area, 36.86 square kilometers of state-owned land), 45272 registered residence population, and 53 thousand migrant population, including the gate village, Baoshan Village, Shuang Xin Village, Gao Zhuang village, Changqing village, Zhenxing village, Shuguang Village, Tian Cun, Yuquan village, Ju Shan village, Xiangshan village, Xilan village, Xishan village and Lonicera village. 14 village committees and 83 natural villages. Economic overview

Sijiqing attaches great importance to improving the investment environment and vigorously developing the export-oriented economy. As early as 1983, Sijiqing successfully cooperated with foreign businessmen to build the Shangri La Hotel in Beijing. Under the guidance and support of the urban leaders and the construction headquarters of the historical and cultural scenic spots of the three mountains and five gardens, the environmental improvement and construction headquarters of Xiangshan area was established. Through the reconstruction and relocation plan for the eastern areas of Xiangshan village, such as siwangfu, the first phase project of zhengbaiqi village, puandian village and siwangfu village in Xiangshan was started, involving 530 homesteads and courtyards.
