Xinle town
Xinle Township, subordinate to Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, bordering Wendou township of Hubei Province in the East and south, Xixin Township in the west, Jinling Township and Jinzhu Township in the north, 83 kilometers away from Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 55.54 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Xinle Township belonged to the 12th class of anrenli in Fengdu County; in January 1984, it was changed from Xinle commune to Xinle township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinle was 4610. As of June 2020, Xinle rural area has four administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 22, Xingchang street, Xinjian village.
The main food crops in Xinle township are corn and rice; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep, meat rabbits and poultry; the main industry is construction industry. In 2018, Xinle township has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to twelve Jia in anrenli, Fengdu County; in 1910, it belonged to Yishun Township, Fengdu County.
In July of 1940, the territory belonged to Xixin township.
In February 1953, Xinchang township was set up from Xixin township.
In October 1958, it was changed into Xinchang commune.
In January 1981, Xinchang commune was renamed Xinle commune.
In January 1984, Xinle commune was changed into Xinle township.

In 2011, Xinle rural governs Xinjian, Yangguang, jiumang and Honghe four administrative villages, with 18 villager groups.
