Longhe town
Longhe Town, subordinate to Fengdu County of Chongqing City, is located in the southeast of Fengdu County and the middle of Longhe River Basin. It is adjacent to Wuping town and Shizhu County in the East, Jilong town in the south, Lizi Township, Shuanglu town and Xingyi town in the west, jiangchi town and Gaojia town in the north, 48 kilometers away from Fengdu county government, with a total area of 136.83 square kilometers.

History of construction
After 1949, Guanyinsi township was built and stationed in Guanyinsi.
In 1953, Guanyinsi township was divided into three townships: Guanyin, Longshui and Qijia.
At the end of 1955, the three townships of Guanyin, Longshui and Qijia were merged into Guanyinsi township.
In October 1958, Guanyinsi township was changed into Guanyin commune.
In March 1966, Guanyin commune was renamed Longhe commune.
In 1983, Longhe commune was replaced by Longhe township.
In 1985, Longhe township was changed from township to town.
In August 1992, Chongshi, Changling and Hemian townships were merged into Longhe town.
