Changchun Town
Changchun Town, subordinate to Baiquan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Baiquan County. It is adjacent to Dazhong Township in the East, Fengchan Township in the south, Yangchun Township in Yi'an County in the West and Xinfa Township in Yi'an County in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from Baiquan County, with a total administrative area of 272 square kilometers.
After the middle of Qing Dynasty, Changchun Town was a nomadic area of yikeming'an banner. In 2004, Xinjian township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Changchun town was 40751. In 2019, Changchun Town governs 13 administrative villages.
In Changchun Town, corn and soybean are the main crops, potatoes, sugar beets and melons are the main economic crops; wood processing and bell processing are the main industries. In 2018, Changchun Town has 66 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the middle of Qing Dynasty, Changchun Town was a nomadic area of yikeming'an banner. In 1906, it was under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County. In 1910 (the second year of Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty), Sai Minxin, Wang Yufu and others came here from Changchun Prefecture of Jilin Province to open up wasteland and gradually developed into a market town, so they got the name "Changchun Town".
During the period of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Baiquan County. After the fall of Northeast China in 1931, it was attached to the eighth Bao of Baiquan County. In May 1938, Wuben village was rebuilt. In 1947, the 12th district was set up.
In 1949, it was changed into Changchun District.
In March 1956, Changchun township was set up instead of regionalized township.
In September 1958, it was renamed Changchun People's commune.
At the beginning of 1984, the government and society were separated and changed to Changchun township; in November of the same year, it was changed to Changchun Town.
In 2004, Xinjian township was incorporated.

By the end of 2011, Changchun Town had four communities: Defa, Zhongyi, Xingfu and Minsheng, and nine administrative villages: Shengli, Jianshe, Tongli, Xinjian, Wanfa, Yumin, Xinchun, Xinyi and Guangrong.
In 2019, Changchun Town has 13 administrative villages, including Shengli village, Yumin village, Xinyi village, Xinchun village, Xingfu village, Minsheng village, Guangrong village, Jianshe village, Defa village, Tongli village, Xinjian village, Zhongyi village and Wanfa village.
