Linjiang Township

Linjiang township is located in the south of Jialing District, Nanchong City, 45 kilometers away from the district government. It faces Tumen Township across the river in the East, Bayi township of wusheng County in the south, Ji'an town in the West and Lidu town in the north.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1993, it was incorporated into Ji'an town and listed separately in 1997. The township covers an area of 26.54 square kilometers and governs 12 villages and 116 communities. The total population is 7306 (2017). The cultivated area is 9041 mu, including 5229 mu of farmland and 3812 mu of soil

social undertakings

In order to create a harmonious and stable social environment and welcome the victory of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Linjiang township of Jialing District innovated the carrier and method of work, and carried out the "four villages" of law popularization and legal governance in the whole township. That is to say, the whole township "publicizes the legal system to every village, mediates the stability of every village, provides legal aid to every village, and corrects the reality of every village.".

The activity closely grasped the hot and difficult issues in rural work, carried out case interpretation education in close combination with the cases around the farmers, focused on organizing the study of national policies and regulations closely related to agricultural growth, farmers' income increase and rural stability, and vigorously publicized them at home. Efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of grass-roots legal publicity and education positions and teams, implement the "six ones" for each administrative village, establish a set of villagers' law learning system, a legal publicity column, a legal book corner, and a law popularization publicity team, and train a legal bright white man for each villager group. A publicity activity of "sending laws to the village group" should be carried out once a quarter.

Through deepening the legal publicity and education, the level of rural legal management has been further improved, which has laid a good legal foundation for promoting the steady and rapid development of the township economy and social harmony and stability.
