Heishi Township

Heishi Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Dunhua City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Dunhua City, bordering Guandi town in the East, qiuligou town in the south, Huangnihe town in the West and Ermu town in the north, with an administrative area of 191.42 square kilometers.

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was forbidden to cultivate paddock; in 1983, Heishi commune was changed to township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Hei Shi township was 12016. As of June 2020, Blackstone village has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages.

Heishi township is located in the north of Dunhua City, Mudanjiang River valley basin and hilly semi mountainous area. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The terrain is hilly in the southeast, low mountain in the northwest and valley plain in the middle.
