Xiaoying town
Xiaoying Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Yanji City, bordering Chang'an town of Tumen City in the East, dongshengyong town and Shijing township of Longjing City in the south, Gongyuan street of Yanji City in the west, Beishan street and Yilan town of Yanji City in the north, with an administrative area of 157.02 square kilometers.
In 1956, it belonged to Xiaoying and Changbai townships; in 2001, Changbai and Xiaoying townships were merged into Xiaoying town and settled in the former Xiaoying township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiaoying town was 23111. As of June 2020, Xiaoying town has jurisdiction over one community, 13 administrative villages and one village level unit.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xiaoying town was 36.626 million yuan, an increase of 156% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 278 industrial enterprises in Xiaoying Town, including 7 above scale enterprises and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1956, it belonged to Xiaoying and Changbai.
In September 1962, the rural part of the three urban communes set up Xiaoying and Changbai two rural communes.
In 1984, it was changed to Xiaoying and Changbai.
In 1991, labor and Wufeng villages in Badao township of Longjing City were assigned to Yanji city.
In 2001, Changbai Township and Xiaoying Township merged into Xiaoying town and settled in the former Xiaoying township.

Xiaoying town is located in Yanji Basin, on both sides of Buerhatong River, high in North and south, low and flat in the middle. There are hills in the south, North and East. The west is open and becomes a horseshoe shaped plain. The burhatong river flows from west to East. Maoershan, the highest point, is located in the southwest of Xiaoying Town, with an altitude of 517 meters.

Xiaoying town has Buerhatong River, which passes through its jurisdiction. It enters from Renping village in the west, leaves from Xidong bridge in Xiaoying village, joins with Hailan River and enters Gaya River in the East. The drainage area is 96.2 square kilometers.
