Changlong Town, subordinate to Dianjiang County, Chongqing, is located in the middle of Dianjiang County, adjacent to Gaoan town in the East, Huangsha town in the south, Guixi town in the West and Caohui town in the north. It is 8 kilometers away from Dianjiang County Government, with a total area of 38.58 square kilometers.
In the spring and Autumn period, Changlong town belonged to the state of Ba; in 2014, it was changed from Changlong township to Changlong town. As of June 2020, Changlong town has two communities and six administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Changlong town is located at No.1 gaoqiaoba.

History of construction
In the spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the state of Ba.
Qin and Han Dynasties, belong to Bajun.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties and the Western Wei Dynasty, it belonged to Dianjiang County.
In 1646, it belonged to bazhuangli; in 1910, it belonged to Gaoan town.
In 1915, it belonged to the second district. In 1931, Changlong village was established and stationed in Changlong village. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it merged with Gao'an town to set up Chang'an Town and was stationed in gaotanchang. In January 1949, Chang'an town was changed to Chang'an Township, which was located in Gao'an Town, belonging to the Fifth District.
In April 1953, Changlong township was established from Chang'an township.
In June 1958, Changlong township was changed into Changlong commune.
In March 1983, Changlong commune was changed into Changlong township.
In 2014, Changlong township was changed from township to town.
