Jinshan Town, belonging to Lantian County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Lantian County. It is connected with Dawang township of Weinan City in the East, Sanguanmiao town and Houzhen town in the south, Sanli town and Muzhai street in Lintong District in the west, and Xiaojin street in Lintong District in the north, with a total area of 52.1 square kilometers.

The origin of place names
Because Hengling in the region is connected with Lishan (ancient name Jinshan), its peak (1063.6 meters above sea level) has a Jinshan Temple, later named Jinshan.
History of construction
Jinshan Town was set up in Qing Dynasty.
