Historical evolution
In the early years of Kangxi, people from Guanghu, Jiangxi and other places moved to Chengdu and occupied some land for reclamation, which is more than 300 years ago. as the population continued to multiply, commodity exchange became increasingly frequent, and the caijiachang was formed during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795). In the early Qing Dynasty, there were three households in Jiangjin County, namely, Zhuxi, Dushi and Sishan, and zhuxili, the family member of CAI. In 1694, every Li was divided into four parts, and the whole county was divided into 12 parts. Later, it was renamed as the 12th capital and the 12th capital of CAI's family. In 1910, the township autonomous association was established. The county was divided into 16 districts and divided into towns and townships. In 1935, the provincial and county departments were set up. The county was divided into five districts. The original Jiale, Jiasheng and Jiaping townships were divided into the second district. From Gaosun bridge in Longxue village to baitangkou in Xinkai village, the length of zhunxi river is 34.5 km; Lengjia River, a tributary of zhunxi River, is 48.8 km.

Caijia town belongs to hilly area. According to Jiangjin soil, it belongs to "southern mountainous area yellow soil area", which is mainly composed of yellow soil and purple soil. The formation of yellow loam is characterized by "yellowing" process, and the aluminum enrichment is weak, but the soil is acidic because of strong leaching and low exchangeable base. Purple soil is a kind of diagenetic soil developed by weathering on the purple sand pages of Jurassic and Cretaceous. It is characterized by rapid soil formation, shallow maturation, rich in phosphorus and potassium. The calcium phosphate content of some purple soils can reach more than 10%, and the pH value is 7.5-8.5. However, a considerable part of calcium carbonate in purple soil is mostly leached, and the soil is neutral without lime reaction, with pH value of 5.5-6.5 and below.
