During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, Yunshan Street belonged to suwayan station of Jilin Province; in 1995, Shuangyang Town was changed into Yunshan street. As of June 2020, Yunshan street has jurisdiction over 12 communities and 4 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 2048 Donghua street, Shuangyang.

History of construction
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to suwayan station of Jilin Province. Qing Xuantong two years (1910), is a police district (county Castle).
In 1937, it was Shuangyang street. In 1947, it was upgraded to one district (Chengguan District).
In 1955, it was reduced to Shuangyang Town.
In October 1958, it was changed into Shuangyang commune.
In 1982, it was changed to Shuangyang Town.
In 1995, Shuangyang Town was changed into Yunshan street.

In 2011, Yunshan Street governed 10 communities including Huatai, Tongyang, Chunyang, Dongqiao, Xingfu, Shiqiao, Changshan, Qingjiang, Boshan and Baishan, and three administrative villages including Qianjin, Yujia and Yonghong.
