Gaoqiao Town, subordinate to Hui County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Hui County, bordering Tianshui City in the East, Liulin town in the south, mayanhe town in the West and Tianshui City in the north. It is 65 kilometers away from Hui County, with a total area of 427.7 square kilometers.

After the Han Dynasty, Gaoqiao Town was under the jurisdiction of Hechi County; in 2016, Gaoqiao township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the population of Gaoqiao Town registered residence was 7074. As of June 2020, Gaoqiao Town has one community and 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Gaoqiao Town is in Gaoqiao village.

History of construction
