Baishan Township
Baishan Township, belonging to Jianping County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning, is located in the Midwest of Jianping County, Southeast and small town. Southwest is adjacent to three Mongolian villages. Northwest and North are adjacent to Taiping Township and Quaid Su town. Northeast area is connected with Zhangjia yingzi Town, with an area of 138.71 square kilometers. As of 2018, the registered residence population was 16045.
In 1953, a mutual aid group was established. In September 1980, the Management Committee of Baishan commune was restored. In 1984, Baishan township was restored. In 2003, Hexiang village changed from 9 villages to 7 villages. As of June 2020, Baishan rural area has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In 1930, it belonged to gonghan County, the fourth County in Jianping, gonghan district.
In 1938, there was Dacheng village office, which had jurisdiction over 6 villages and 22 villages.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), there was changhanchi village, belonging to the Right Banner of Kalaqin (Jianping, where the banner office is located).
In August 1945, the villages were under the jurisdiction of kuidesu district.
In January of 1946, the system of Township, Bao and Jia was implemented.
In July 1947, the village government was established.
In July 1949, the county adjusted its division. The four administrative villages of changhanchi, danzhoucheng, sihancheng and gahaitu were under the jurisdiction of kuidesu district (zone 6), and the two administrative villages of Dacheng and Shuiquan were under the jurisdiction of Xiaotang district (zone 7).

In February 1966, Baishan commune was composed of four communes: Xiaotang, kuidesu, Taipingzhuang and three families. It has nine groups: changhanchi, gahaitu, sihancheng, gaobancheng, Shuiquan, wazigou, Datang, zhalancheng and Danzhou.
On March 17, 1968, the Management Committee of Baishan commune was transformed into the Revolutionary Committee of Baishan commune.
In September 1980, the Management Committee of Baishan commune was restored.
In 1984, Baishan township was restored.

The river course in Baishan Township belongs to sihancheng river system, a tributary of Haitang River in Laoha River Basin. It originates from Beiliang, shijiligou, Qijia village, Xiaotang township. It enters from Heishanzui village, Xiaotang Township, flows through Dongcheng, Xicheng, changhanchi and other villages, enters Taipingzhuang Township, and enters Haitang river. The river course is about 12.4 thousand meters long, and the drainage area is about 87.6 square kilometers.
