Jianshe town
Jianshe Town, subordinate to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Fuxin County, on the West Bank of Raoyang River, across the river from Ping'an township of Zhangwu County in the East, adjacent to wuhuanchi town in the west, Daguben town in the south, and tayingzi Township in the north. It is 15km away from National Highway 101, 22km away from paozi railway station of Dazheng line, and 50km away from the county. The total area of the town is 192.64 square kilometers.
In 1956, Jianshe township was established. In 1961, the construction commune was set up. In September 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1991, the township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence households in the town was 26612. As of June 2020, Jianshe town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Jianshe town and village.
In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in Jianshe Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 77 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In the winter of 1947, the jurisdiction was divided into the third district of Fuxin County.
In 1956, Jianshe township was established.

Jianshe town is a low mountain and semi hilly area, with an average altitude of 140 meters. There are 27 large and small hills, covering an area of 43.2 square kilometers. The main mountains are sijiazi mountain, 2333 meters above sea level, and Jiazi mountain, 229.9 meters above sea level.

Jianshe town has a temperate continental monsoon climate, characterized by four distinct seasons, short and dry spring and autumn, high temperature and rainy summer, and long cold winter. The annual average temperature is 7.2 ℃, the frost free period is 150 days, and the annual average precipitation is 500 mm.

Rivers in Jianshe town mainly include Raoyang River, wuhuanchi River and ertuyingzi river. The length of Raoyang River is 28.5 km, which flows through three villages and is the boundary river of fuzhang and Zhangzhou counties; the curve length of wuhuanchi river is 14.3 km, which flows through four villages and joins Raoyang River; the curve length of ertuyingzi river is 13.6 km, which flows through five villages and joins Raoyang River at xingshuwa village.

History and culture
In the past, Jianshe town was sparsely populated and desolate, so it was called "Xiaohuang". After the land reform, it was rebuilt and named after the idea of building a beautiful hometown in desolation.
