Liu's hometown is located in the northwest of Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, 11 kilometers away from Fuchuan County, with a total area of 109 square kilometers. It governs one community, nine administrative villages, 46 natural villages, and has a population of 17000 people. More than 70% of them are resettled from the Guishi reservoir area, which is the most resettled Township in the Hezhou reservoir area.
