Daxing Township is under the jurisdiction of Daqingshan County, Yichun city. Located in the southwest of the city. The township government is 0.5 km away from Daqingshan county. In 1954, four mutual aid groups were established, and in 1956, they developed from primary cooperatives to four senior agricultural production cooperatives and one new immigrant village, under the jurisdiction of dailing town. It was changed into a production brigade in 1958 and a red flag farm in 1960. In 1962, the farm was abolished and the production brigades were restored, which was directly under the central government of dailing district. In September 1980, Daxing commune was established. In April 1984, it was changed to Daxing Township.

Daxing Township has a total area of 85 square kilometers, with a cultivated area of 21000 mu. It is mainly distributed in Yongxing, daqingchuan, Dongfanghong and other river valley plains, mainly planting potatoes and vegetables. There are deer farm, Ginseng Farm, chicken farm and so on. The antler, wool, garden ginseng, monkey leg and fern produced are for export. The township has jurisdiction over eight villages, including Qiufeng, Hongxing, Qingchuan, Shuangxing, Liangzhong, Jinxing, Yongxing and Baoshan. At the end of 1992, the total population of the township was 2197, of which about 2% were ethnic minorities such as Manchu, Hui and Korean. The township government is stationed in Liangzhong village.
