On December 11, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns in Guang'an City (cfgm [2019] No. 16): the new town and Taihe Town were abolished and Taihe Town was established. The administrative area of Taihe Town was the administrative area of the former New Town and Taihe Town. The people's Government of Taihe Town was stationed at 110 Qinmin road.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1956, Puxin township was divided into Taihe Township and Xinzhen township. In 1958, it was changed into a commune. In 1984, it was restored. In 2019, Taihe Township was withdrawn to establish a town, and Xinzhen township was incorporated.

General situation of the town

Taihe Town is located in the north of Linshui County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, with three ancient towns in the East, Wenxing town in Dazhu County, Oujia town in the west, mother town in Dazhu County in the north, and Ganzi town in the south. The people's Government of Taihe Town is located at 110 Qinmin Road, 24 kilometers away from the county, with an area of 85.61 square kilometers and a population of 15803 (2017). National Highway 210 passes through. It administers 15 village committees, namely, luolanba, Huluba, liujiaan, guiguisi, heheba, Tiechanggou, yangtiangou, Shuangqiao, QINGGANGPING, T-shaped bridge, gun shop, gaojiamiao, Puxin, chejiashan and shuntianzhai. Township enterprises include agricultural machinery, small hydropower stations, grain processing, Quarrying and other industries. Agricultural production of rice, corn, wheat, sweet potato. The new town area of Taihe Town has an average altitude of more than 800 meters, with 5 administrative villages and 33 villager groups, mainly Han nationality. The whole terrain is low and flat in the middle, with high mountains on both sides. The territory is rich in products and pleasant climate. The annual climate is mild, rainfall is moderate, water and heat are excellent, rich in rice, corn, rape, peanuts, oranges, vegetables and other agricultural and sideline products, is the county's high-quality rice production demonstration area. Berlin reservoir is rich in wild fish, such as carp, silver carp, turtle, green bag, yellow hot Ding, etc. The mountains on both sides of the territory abound in pine, fir, cypress and miscellaneous trees. The forest area is 14000 mu, the plant species are various, the barren mountain area is more than 5000 mu, and the coal and Baishi are rich. The coal is mainly distributed in the area of Jinpan village, and the Baishi is mainly distributed in the area of Jinpan village and Xianshi village. There is a new Town Central School in Linshui County, which is composed of one junior middle school and five village primary schools. There are 1 health center, 5 village medical centers, 1 nursing home, 1 cultural station and 5 village level cultural activity rooms. The mountains on both sides are high and steep, and the vegetation is sparse. The whole geology belongs to special limestone geology, with poor water holding capacity, extensive water resources and weak water conservancy foundation. In recent years, through "adjusting the structure by science and technology, harnessing water and prospering agriculture", the project of collecting rainwater and saving irrigation in Hanshan village has been implemented. At the same time, by introducing good varieties and methods, scientific planting, the high-quality rice production base has been built, and pollution-free livestock and poultry breeding has been vigorously developed. The construction goal of "small project, large scale, small pool, large industry, small investment and large benefit" has been achieved. In addition, we will develop prickly ash industry in Tianlong, Tianchi and tianpo, and build a herbal medicine planting base in Xianshi village. "Xinzhen" brand rice has been officially registered by the State Trademark Office and won the title of "famous and high-quality agricultural products" in the 2002 western China Agricultural Expo. Xinzhen rice, Xinzhen Zanthoxylum, Xinzhen livestock and poultry have entered Linshui, Guang'an and Chongqing markets. Now it has realized the connection of highway, tap water, radio and television, telephone to every village. China Mobile and China Telecom have one base station each, and the communication network covers the whole township. There is a mysterious Jinpan pool near the Jinpan village highway. It is blue all the year round, unfathomable, and the water is clear and cool. It can build a water park with unique scenery. The famous Youjia ancestral hall in Jinpan village is the hometown of you Xuecheng, the leader of the first column in Jinggangshan revolutionary base. It can build a red tourism education base. Jinpan village is only 2.2km away from the mysterious old Dragon Cave. The old Dragon Cave is unfathomable and has unique landscape. There are stalactites of different shapes, mysterious underground rivers and some unknown creatures in it. Its development value is very high.
