Bali Town
Bali Town, belonging to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Jingning County and the middle reaches of Hulu river. It is adjacent to Siqiao Township in the southeast, Yuqiao Township in Xiji County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the northeast, Chengguan town in the south, jieshipu town and Xixiang Township in the West and Lingzhi Township in the north. It is 15 kilometers away from Jingning County. The total administrative area is 72 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in eight Li Town was 18344.
Bali Town is named after the town government's residence in Balipu village. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), most of the territory belongs to danxiao township. In August 1949, it belonged to the first district (Chengguan District). In July 2002, the township was withdrawn to build Bali Town. As of June 2020, Bali Town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.

Bali Town is named after the town government's residence in Balipu village.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), most of the territory belongs to danxiao township.

In December 1961, Bali commune was established from Chengguan commune.
In February 1964, it was incorporated into Chengguan commune.
In October 1979, Bali commune was restored.
