Xinggong Street

Old street name. Xinggong street is located in the east of Tiexi District, starting from Feifei road in the south, Beisi road in the north, liangdongqiao at the junction of Heping District in the East and Yunfeng street in the West. It covers an area of 2.27 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 59086 (2010). It has jurisdiction over six communities: Xinggong ninth Committee, Shenliao East Road, aigong, Nanqi East Road, Feifei road and liangdongqiao.

Historical evolution

Xinggong commune was set up in 1962; streets were built in 1978. In 1996, it covers an area of 23000 and has a population of 42000. It has jurisdiction over 22 neighborhood committees. In 2002, the office was located at No. 12, gate 7, Yunfeng South Street, with a population of 47000 and an area of 2.27 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 10 communities including Yunxing, Zugong, liangdongqiao, Xingqi, Jiuwei, Shenliao East Road, aigong, Feifei Road, Huahua North Lane and Nanqi East Road. on December 2, 2019, Xinggong Street will be abolished, four communities under its jurisdiction, namely liangdongqiao, aigong, Jiuwei and nanqidong Road, will be included in Xinghua street, and two communities, namely Shenliao East Road and Feifei Road, will be included in Lingkong street. The sub district office, 17 aigong South Street, was changed to Xinghua sub district office.
