HeJiazhuang township is located in the eastern hilly area of Yaodu District, 25 kilometers away from the urban area, covering an area of 64.31 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Dayang town in the north, Xiangfen County in the south, Fushan County in the East, Xiandi town and Jiade Township in the West.
There are 14 administrative villages, 32 natural villages and 1958 households in the township, with a total population of 5100 (2017) and a cultivated area of 25000 mu. In 2002, there were 4417 employees in the township, including 1981 female laborers, 3319 agricultural employees and 213 industrial employees. In 2002, it won the gold medal in Shanxi Agricultural Expo. In 1998, the Linxiang highway connecting Fushan and Yicheng counties was built, which changed the traffic congestion of the whole township. With the strong support of the District Water Conservancy Bureau, more than 600000 yuan was invested in 1998 to build a centralized water supply project in qingleyuan village, which solved the draught problem of more than 2500 people in three villages. In 2002, another 900000 yuan was invested to complete a 10 kilometer long north-south drinking water project, which solved the problem of drinking water for more than 2000 people in nine villages in the North District. Since 2000, the implementation of rural power grid reconstruction project, the township's power facilities have been thoroughly improved, providing power for the future economic development of the township.
