Chaihe Forestry Bureau of Inner Mongolia is located in the south section of the east slope of Daxing'an Mountains, in Zhalantun City, under the jurisdiction of Hulunbuir Forestry Bureau, which is one of the six local forestry bureaus directly under Hulunbuir city.
geographical position
It is adjacent to the construction area of Zhalantun Forestry Bureau in the East, Aershan Forestry Bureau in the west, Wuchagou Forestry Bureau in the South and chuoer Forestry Bureau in the north. The geographical coordinates are 120 ° 36 '- 120 ° 46' e and 47 ° 05 '- 47 ° 45' n. The total land area is 369850 hectares, the actual management area is 354770 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 75.15%.
topographic features
Chaihe Forestry Bureau in Inner Mongolia has a middle and low mountain landform. The direction of the main mountains is consistent with the main vein of Daxinganling. It is bounded by chuoer river. The typical middle mountain landform is in the west, and the low mountain and hilly landform is in the East.
Historical evolution
On January 27, 1951, the people's Government of butha banner approved the establishment of SAMA Street forest protection station to take charge of Chaihe area. In March 1956, in order to strengthen the management of Chaihe area, the people's Government of butha banner (now Zhalantun city) decided to establish Chaihe Operation Bureau. In April 1958, the Organization Department of the CPC flag Committee approved the general branch committee of the Chaihe Forest Management Bureau of the CPC. In November, the Chaihe Forest Management Bureau was abolished and part of it was incorporated into chuoer Forestry Bureau. The four management offices of Chaihe, gulihe, haduohe and samajie (later moved to iqihan) were transformed into forest farms, which were under the leadership of the Forestry Department of the people's Government of Buteha banner. In October 1969, gulihe forest farm and Chaihe Forest Farm began winter timber production one after another to provide timber for industrial and agricultural production in butha banner. In February 1970, the mountain construction headquarters of Hulun League was established in Chaihe. There are political work group, security group, forest administration group, financial planning group, work and transportation group and other agencies. In August 1971, with the approval of Buqi core group, Chaihe Forestry Bureau was established on the basis of the original forestry administration group to manage habuqi, Chaihe and gulihe forest farms.

Chaihe Forestry Bureau of Inner Mongolia is located in the transition zone from the bright coniferous forest to the deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest at the eastern foot of Daxing'an Mountains. The wild plants are mainly mesophytes, and the flora is more complex. There are not only dawuliwan, but also Inner Mongolia steppe and North China flora species. There are about 80 families and more than 1000 species of wild plants. Astragalus membranaceus, Cistanche deserticola and Panax japonicus are the national key protected plants, Platycodon grandiflorum, Paeonia lactiflora, gentian, bupleurum and other Chinese medicinal materials, honeysuckle, strawberry and other berry resources, hazelnut, apricot and other oil plants, Pteridium aquilinum, mountain leek, yellow flower, willow wormwood and other wild vegetable resources, and Hericium erinaceus, Auricularia auricula, hazelnut mushroom, HuaMian mushroom and other edible fungi resources are also rich. According to the investigation report of forestry specialty in 1995, there are nearly 300 species of wild economic plants in our region.
