Power plant street

The power plant street is located in the north of Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, within the scope of Xuzhou Power Plant and Huaihai cement plant, 17 kilometers away from the city center. At the end of 2008, it covers an area of 5 square kilometers and has a population of 1761. It has jurisdiction over power plant and Julong communities. The office is located in Maocun power plant.

It is close to Beijing Hangzhou canal and Weishan Lake, east to Beijing Shanghai railway. There are two special railway lines to reach qianting station and connect with Beijing Shanghai railway. Xuji highway branch line reaches Huaihai cement plant through power plant.

Maocun power plant street was established in 1979 and changed to power plant street in 1982. In 1996, it covers an area of 6 square kilometers and has a population of 5000. It has jurisdiction over three neighborhood committees: power plant, Dongcun and huaishui. In 2010, the power plant street in Jiuli district was put under the jurisdiction of Tongshan district.
