Dongfeng Town
Dongfeng Town, belonging to Wudang District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the east of Wudang District, bordering pianpo Buyi Township in the East, Yongle Township in Nanming District in the south, Gaoxin street in the west, Sanjiang farm and Xiaba Township in Shuitian town in the north, with a total area of 84.32 square kilometers. As of 2018, Dongfeng town has 29460 registered residence population. As of October 2019, Dongfeng town has jurisdiction over 7 communities and 13 administrative villages.
Yuan set Wudang and other director of the lawsuit. In 1914, it belonged to Guiyang County. On November 15, 1941, Guiyang was liberated, and Bao and Jia were abolished and administrative villages were set up. In 1955, along with the seventh division, it belongs to the suburb of Guiyang city. In 1957, Guizhu county was abandoned. In 1958, the five communes of Dongfeng, Wenfeng, Chengfeng, Zhiyuan and Weixing merged into Luowan commune. In 1983, the commune reformed its system and divided the pianpo brigade into pianpo Buyi Township and Dongfeng commune into Dongfeng Township. In 1989, Saxiang was built and Dongfeng Township was changed into Dongfeng town.
In 2011, the total output value of animal husbandry in Dongfeng town was 11.35 million yuan, the total output value of fishery was 18.3 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 31.45 million yuan.

In the Ming and modern dynasties, there are Luowan fort and longluo fort under the jurisdiction of Guizhou, and Wuyi fort, Wuba fort and Xiaotun fort under the jurisdiction of Guizhou avant garde.
The Qing Dynasty belonged to dongshangli and hongbianli in Guizhu County, Guiyang Prefecture.
In 1914, it belonged to Guiyang County.
In 1931, it belonged to Luowan Town, Wudang town, Housuo Township, toubao Township, Maidan Township, Yunjin Township and Sanjiang Township, the third district of Guiyang County.
In 1941, Guiyang was set up as a city. Guiyang County was renamed Guizhu county. Wudang Township belongs to Wudang District of Guizhu county. On November 15 of the same year, Guiyang was liberated, and the Bao and Jia were abolished and the administrative villages were set up.
From 1950 to 1954, Wudang, Housuo, Luowan and Yunjin belonged to the seventh district of Guizhu county.
In 1955, along with the seventh division, it belongs to the suburb of Guiyang city.
In 1957, Guizhu county was abandoned.
In February 1958, Dongfeng commune and wuluowan commune were established; in August 1958, Dongfeng commune and wuluowan commune were established.
In 1968, Luowan commune was abolished, and Dongfeng commune was set up in the six administrative areas of Beiya, Wudang, Luowan, Yunjin, Yongle and Luoli.
In 1975, Dongfeng commune set up xintianzhai town with five brigades: xintianzhai, Beiya, Shunhai, Xinzhuang and Ali.
In 1978, Dongfeng commune established Yongle Commune by dividing into five production brigades: Yongle, Yangjiao, Shitang, Shuitang and Luoli.
In 1983, the commune reformed its system and divided the pianpo brigade into pianpo Buyi Township and Dongfeng commune into Dongfeng Township.
In 1989, Saxiang was built and Dongfeng Township was changed into Dongfeng town.

The highest point is located in the eastern tangmao mountain, with an altitude of 1445 meters; the lowest point is located at the exit of Nanming River of Maichen village committee, with an altitude of 980 meters.

Dongfeng town belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, which is characterized by obvious four seasons, slightly different mountains and wide valleys. The annual average temperature is 14.9 ℃, the average temperature in January is 4.6 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 5 ℃; the average temperature in July is 22.7 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 39 ℃. The average annual temperature range is 14.5 ℃, and the frost free period is 280 days, the longest is 321 days, and the shortest is 275 days. The annual accumulated temperature is 5340.6 ℃. The annual average precipitation is 1179 mm, and the rainfall is concentrated in May to October, with the most from June to August.

The main rivers in Dongfeng town are Dahe, Datang River, Tiaoshui River and Yudong river. The largest river is Yudong River, which flows from Yongle Township, Nanming District through toupu village and Maikan village, with a length of 30 km. Tiaoshui River, from the upper reaches of Yudong River to Maizao village, flows through Housuo village and Longjing Village, with a length of 5 km.

The mineral resources in Dongfeng Town include coal, iron, refractory clay, argillaceous siltstone and kaolin for brick and tile. Maocaozhai has a semi bituminous coal reserve area of 15 square kilometers with a reserve of 450 tons; Luowan limonite has a reserve area of 3 square kilometers with a reserve of 1 million tons; maocaozhai and Miao Tian pyrite have a reserve area of 12 square kilometers with a reserve of 11.3 million tons. Yunjin village is rich in geothermal water resources.
