Xianfeng township is located in the south of the county, on the West Bank of Anning River. It covers an area of 62.5 square kilometers and has a population of 15163, including 3334 Yi people. County Road Luhe road runs through the whole territory, Mianxian road is connected with it. The township government is 30 kilometers north of the county. It has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages and 49 villager groups in Shuanghe, Xinglong, Baini, Zhonghe, bakou, Bagu, Changxin, Yangjia, Luoshi, Baixiang and Nanshan. The area of cultivated land is 13716.8 mu. The main agricultural products are rice, barley, corn and rapeseed. The grain output is 3.429 million kg. The terrain is flat and the ditches are crisscross. From 2002 to 2004, comprehensive agricultural development was carried out, covering an area of 10000 mu. There are 1 county key middle school, 3 primary schools, 1 health center and 1 veterinary station.
