Zhanqian Street

Zhanqian street is under the administration of Wanli Administration Bureau (new administrative district) of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It originally belonged to Wanli District (to be abolished). It is 8 kilometers away from Nanchang Municipal People's Government of Honggutan district. It is an agency of the district Party committee and the district government (at the section level). It used to be the political, economic and cultural center of Wanli city.

Zhanqian Street covers an area of 2.8 square kilometers, with 228 residential buildings and a total population of 11026 (2010). At present, there are 530 central, provincial, municipal, district and jurisdiction units (including 64 government institutions, 18 enterprises and 448 individual and private households). In 2018, the total revenue was 27.622 million yuan.

In December 2019, with the approval of the State Council, it is agreed to cancel Wanli District of Nanchang City and merge its administrative region into the New District of Nanchang city.

On June 28, 2020, Nanchang Wanli Administration Bureau was established.

On November 28, 2020, Zhanqian sub district office of Nanchang Wanli Administration Bureau was established.

Major projects were launched. We will continue to follow up the project of zhaoxianzhong Avenue commercial complex (Nanchang urban construction square), which is a major key project in the district under the charge of our office, with a total investment of 210 million yuan. We plan to build a project integrating shopping center, characteristic commercial block and boutique office building. Earthwork excavation and enclosure construction have been completed.
