Jinhe town
Jinhe town is located 12 kilometers north of the government of Jinkouhe District, adjacent to Hongya in the north, Jixing Township in the East, Heping Township in the South and Yonghe town in the west, with an altitude of 520-3000 meters. The town covers an area of 143.11 square kilometers, with an altitude of 685 meters. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, 81 economic societies and 1 community neighborhood committee, with a total of 5917 people (2017).
On December 13, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Leshan City to adjust the administrative divisions of 8 counties (cities, districts) including Shizhong District (cfzm [2019] No. 20): Jixing township was abolished and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Jinhe town. After the adjustment, Jinhe town governs Jinhe community, Dengta village, Wuxing village, Wuyi village, Tonghe village, Chaping village, Liaoping village, Dagang village, Jifeng village, Shuguang village and the administrative area of the former Jixing township. administrative division
Jinhe town was called Jinkouhe in ancient times. It was called Jinji Township since 1920. In 1949, it was divided into Jinhe, Taiping and Jianshe townships. In 1958, Jinhe and Taiping townships merged into Jinhe township. In October of the same year, Jinhe and Jianshe townships merged into Jinhe commune. In 1985, it was officially named Jinhe town. in December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government agreed to abolish Jixing Township and put its administrative region under the jurisdiction of Jinhe town. physical geography
The town has a pleasant climate, with an average annual temperature of 20 ℃, 1028.5 hours of sunshine and an average annual rainfall of 800 mm. Jinhe town is rich in resources. Water resources belong to Dadu River system, mainly including Shunshui River, yeniu River and Jinkou River, with water energy reserves of 40000 kW. 18 small hydropower stations have been built in the town, with a total installed capacity of 38000 kW. According to the preliminary survey of the geological department, dolomite reserves are 300 million tons, which can be fully exploited; silica reserves are 140 million tons; phosphate reserves are 800000 tons, which can be exploited by 200000 tons; limestone reserves are about 100 million tons, which can be exploited by 50 million tons. The town has a forest area of more than 50000 mu, including 20000 mu of natural forest, with a forest coverage rate of 60%. There are Davidia involucrata, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Ginkgo biloba, red panda, black bear, takin and other rare animals and plants under the first and second class national protection.
Transportation
Jinkouhe railway station and District freight platform of Chengdu Kunming railway are about 2km away from the government's residence. Lexi highway, Jinwu highway, Taojin highway and 59462 army highway run through the whole town.
Economic situation
The town has developed high energy industry, and more than 20 small and medium-sized enterprises, such as Xinhe, Jinguang, Jinguang and Tieren, have been growing. In 2005, the total output value of township enterprises was 26 million yuan, and the profits and taxes paid were more than 20 million yuan. The town has 9493 mu of arable land, including 85 mu of paddy field. The main products are corn, sweet potato and potato. Coptis chinensis and wax insects are local characteristic products. In 2005, the total agricultural output value was 10.57 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2300 yuan.
