Tumen town
Tumen Town, a water town in Tianshui, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Qingshui County, East Red Town, South to Jin Ji Town, Guo Chuan Town, Jia Chuan Township, west of Yunshan Town, Qinan County, North and far gate town, with an area of 64.51 square kilometers, and in 2018, 16820 registered residence population.
Before the Qing Dynasty, the territory was Qin, a corner of the ancient state of Longyou. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Yunshan Town, Qin'an County. In November 1949, Tumen set up a township. In 1961, Tumen commune was established. In 1965, all Xinyi communes and some Gaochuan and Shuiqing communes were merged. In December 1983, it was changed into Tumen township. In March 2017, the township was set up. As of June 2020, Tumen town has one community and 12 administrative villages.
In 2018, Tumen town has one industrial enterprise and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
Before the Qing Dynasty, the territory was Qin, a corner of the ancient state of Longyou.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Yunshan Town, Qin'an County.
In November 1949, Tumen set up a township.
In July 1951, Qin'an transferred Yuanmen District of Tianshui county.
In March 1954, Qingshui county was transferred from Tianshui County, under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District of Qingshui county (Yuanmen District).
In August 1958, the township was withdrawn, belonging to the Tumen management area of Xinhua commune.
In 1961, Tumen commune was established.
In 1965, all of them were incorporated into the commune of shuichuan and Gaoyi in Qing Dynasty.
In December 1983, it was changed into Tumen township.
In March 2017, the township was set up.
